Co-op’s City Way, Rochester store and forecourt re-opened last week after a £630,000 revamp. Investment on the fuel side saw re-branding from Texaco to Co-op, with most of the money spent on a major store refit, including an improved range and the addition of a Costa Coffee machine.

Steven Roffe, area manager for the Co-op, told Kent Online: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to carry out such a significant investment in Rochester.

“We are proud to be part of the community, and are committed to ensuring the store is a local hub, a real asset locally for residents and for those driving through our area in need of a break or refreshment."
