Walkers revamps packaging of its core range of crisps

John Wood ·

Walkers is kicking off 2019 with a new look across its core range of crisps.

Rolling out from this month, the new pack design uses a more premium finish and aims to deliver greater visibility on shelf.

Andy Hawkswell, marketing manager at PepsiCo, commented: “We’re excited to be unveiling the modern and refreshed packaging across the Walkers core range as we start the New Year. Not only will it deliver the same great taste of Walkers that the nation loves but it will be easier for consumers to locate on shelf and drive a stronger emotional connection with the brand.

“We are proud to continue to use 100% Great British sourced potatoes in all of our Walkers crisps which allows us to deliver the freshest, highest quality and crispiest crisp. We are confident the new packaging will grab the attention of shoppers and help drive sales for retailers. It is set to be an exciting year for Walkers and we look forward to sharing further information as the year unfolds.”
