Forecourt Trader - 30 years at the heart of the fuel retailing community

Under the spotlight: Gideon Carroll

EdgePetrol's Gideon Carroll is passionate about many things, including gas-guzzling cars, India and, of course, his family

01 Career history: I qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then went to work for Trafigura, an independent commodity trading and logistics house. After selling gasoline to the downstream retail market, I noticed an opportunity to give petrol retailers live visibility of their key metrics enabling them to make more informed decisions and improving the efficiency and profitability of their business. This is how the EdgePetrol concept was formed.
