Kraft Foods is launching a limited edition Terry’s Chocolate Orange cosmic crunch bar.

It follows the success of a cosmic crunch Chocolate Orange ball which, according to AC Nielsen figures, was the number one new product launch in impulse outlets last Christmas.

The new bar comprises orange chocolate with toffee-flavoured crunchy pieces.

Dave McNulty, convenience sales director at Kraft Foods, comments: "Terry’s Chocolate Orange has driven sales in recent years adding 44% growth across the whole range last Christmas. New and loyal customers get excited by new products at point of purchase and often decide to buy more than one at a time.

"Toffee products are already a strong favourite in the market but this has the added appeal of Terry’s Chocolate Orange."

The bars come in shelf-ready display cases of 36, pricemarked at 38p.
