Istobal, the Spanish carwash manufacturer, has taken a controlling interest in Jet Technics in a bid to bring better service to the UK.
Jet Technics managing director Alan Bennett explains: “Our remit is to sort out any problems forecourts have with Istobal car washes whatever they are. We’re here to look after Istobal’s customers and do whatever’s necessary to maintain them properly.
“Istobal’s aim has always been to give its customers good service at a good price and now in the UK they can deal direct with us.”
Mr Bennett says Jet Technics has been in the car wash repair business for 20 years so it knows what it’s doing.
Meanwhile Istobal’s UK distribution deal with Atlantis International is still valid and forecourt operators are still able to deal with this company if they so wish.
