Greenergy Fuels Ltd has made a multi-million pound investment in new petrol and diesel blending and storage facilities in Teeside. The facility, which

marks the first phase of a more extended planned investment programme in the area, will deliver diesel supplies from summer 2009 and full petrol and diesel blending and loading facilities from early 2010.

The announcement follows the company’s recent acquisition and refurbishment of terminals in Plymouth, scheduled to come on line this September, and the completion of new tankage on the Thames in 2008. Greenergy chief executive Andrew Owens said the latest investment would put in place a more cost-effective supply route, driving down costs and improving service for customers across the region.
