Tokheim has been selected as a global supplier of fuel dispensers for Shell service stations. The implementation of the agreement, which will run until 2016, has already started with the first installations in the Benelux, Germany, Italy and the UK.
Patrick Berthon, president of Tokheim, said: “We are very pleased to have been awarded this contract by Shell. It demonstrates the trust that is placed in the quality and innovation of our products by our customers at a global level. Tokheim see the supply of the Quantium dispensers to Shell as a part of the partnership process and we are fully committed to achieving an excellent level of support for them.
Tokheim has a long-standing relationship as a strategic partner of Shell’s. Tokheim recently entered into an agreement with Shell as one of its global suppliers in retail automation for the Global Site Systems Programme (GSSP). Caroline Taussig, Shell Retail Engineering general manager, said: “Tokheim has worked effectively with Shell Retail over many years. We are delighted that the outcome of the global dispensers tender will further leverage this relationship, which now covers the supply of dispensers, site automation and fuels system maintenance in many countries.”
