Harvest Energy has secured a five-year motor fuel supply and branding agreement with Top 50 indie WJ King (Garages) Ltd, which has eight forecourts across southeast London and northwest Kent.

News of the signing comes as Ian and Sue Cruickshank, owners of recently rebranded Ponton Main Service Station on the A1 Great North Road in Grantham, report an 80% increase in fuel sales since receiving Harvest Energy livery.

John King, managing director of WJ King, said: "We were looking at who to go with for our fuel supply because in my view the main brands are all so over-valued. Going own-brand was an option but then we started talking with Harvest Energy. They were innovative, flexible, and importantly, nice people to deal with."

Simon Davis, Harvest’s head of sales & logistics, said: "We are very pleased to have signed this agreement with WJ King. It’s a long-standing company with a well-respected name across South London and Kent, and we are delighted their sites will soon display the Harvest Energy brand."
