Fuel price campaigner Fair Fuel UK is encouraging a ‘mass tweet’ on Twitter at 1pm today, calling for lower petrol and diesel prices.

As average petrol and diesel prices continue to rise daily – today reaching 137.89ppl and 144.99ppl – Fair Fuel UK is asking anyone with a Twitter account to take part in its National Fair Fuel Day’s Mass Tweet, while campaigners will be in Westminster lobbying MPs.

People are being asked to send the following tweet to all their followers as close to 1pm today as possible, and then retweet in a bid to ‘get trending’ on Twitter for the sake of lower petrol and diesel prices: ‘I support @fairfueluk‘s call for a cut in #fuelduty for 180,000 new jobs & economic growth. Pls sign up & support at http://www.fairfueluk.com
