A naturally created and environmentally friendly heat log has been launched into the UK market as an alternative to wooden logs.

Fuel World’s Supaflame heat logs are made from recycled rice husk; a bi-product of rice production. The husk is compacted together to form bespoke logs which can be used as a fuel alternative to coal and wood and are suitable for open fires, chimeneas and log stoves.

The 100% natural logs burn for up to 10 hours and compared to coal and wood provide a cleaner, carbon neutral and practical fuel source.

Nigel Turner, director at Fuel World UK, said: “We are very excited to launch Supaflame heat logs to the UK following great success in other global markets. As the logs are produced using a bi-product of food, the lifecycle of creating and using the logs has a very low carbon emission impact which we are proud to support.

“We also have exciting plans to develop further products this year to add to the Supaflame portfolio.”

The heat logs come in a pack of six logs with a rrp of £4.99 and a display unit containing 112 shrink-wrapped packs for use in-store.
