Retail Services has completed the first stage of a roll-out of its ’innovative’ coal bunkers, as part of a deal to supply 150 forecourts nationwide.

The bunkers, commissioned by Chesterfield-based solid fuel supplier CPL Distribution, have been manufactured from a combination of steel and acrylic and are said to offer a hard-wearing, secure and visually attractive alternative to the traditional stands, which have long been a feature of petrol stations.

Retail Services, which specialises in the bespoke design, manufacture, preparation, installation and merchandising of retail displays, has delivered 20 of the lockable coal bunkers to supermarket forecourts with another 130 to be rolled out in the coming months.
