Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has awarded Gilbarco Veeder-Root a three-year maintenance contract for its network of 58 sites, after an open-tender process.

Gilbarco Veeder-Root will provide full service and maintenance of all MFG sites as well as supplying and installing all new tank-gauging and fuel-dispensing equipment.

The contract includes round the clock emergency call-out, proactive maintenance on all fuel-dispensers, automatic tank-gauging equipment, delivery control devices (DCDs), accident damage protection and regular key performance indicator reports.

Gilbarco Veeder-Root says planned preventative maintenance on forecourts pre-empts potential faults and maximises uptime; ensuring end-customers are satisfied and sites are compliant with health, safety and environmental guidelines and licensing legal requirements.

Jeremy Clarke, managing director at Motor Fuel Group said: “The potential loss of customers avoiding the forecourt because equipment is not available can have a significant impact on forecourt revenues and profits. We trust Gilbarco Veeder-Root will help ensure forecourt uptime is maximised throughout the network.”

Dave Coombe, managing director at Gilbarco Veeder-Root, commented: “Our expertise in the forecourt industry and team of over 120 service engineers throughout the UK enable us to provide the most comprehensive service and help reduce our customers’ challenges.”
