A TV company is looking for owners or managers willing to take part in a programme aiming to help businesses troubled by shoplifters.
Optomen Television is the maker of Mary Portas: Secret Shopper and Gordon Ramsay’s: Kitchen Nightmares, and is producing a new series featuring a crime prevention expert who will be help independent shops and businesses tackle shoplifting.
Producer Joe Newell said: “Our programme aims to help independent shops and businesses by offering advice on the latest crime fighting technology, as well as providing some simple and easy to implement measures that could really make a difference when it comes to deterring potential criminals. So if you’re a shop owner or manager and you’d like some advice on how to better protect your business against thieves please get in touch.”
Newell said the series is being made for a major broadcaster and will be transmitted early next year.
