Police in Plymouth are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a service station in Plymstock.

The incident occurred between 5am and 5.30am on Tuesday 4 November at the Morley Service Station on Billacombe Road in Plymstock.

A man armed with a knife threatened a member of staff, and stole money from the till before leaving.

The offender is described as being a white man, between 5’ 5” and 5’8” in height and wearing a red and grey raincoat with a pull string hood which was pulled tight around his head and a black balaclava.

Police said the cashier was extremely shaken as a result of the incident and appealed for any witnesses who were in the area at thie time to come forward to assist the investigation.
