Adler and Allan will be presenting its Ethanol Coalescing Filter at this year’s Forecourt Show taking place at Birmingham’s NEC on 20-22 April.

E&S Environmental and AJ Bayliss, part of the Adler and Allan Group, will be hosting a stand and highlighting the group’s capabilities such as guaranteeing fuel quality, vapour recovery, separator installation, and installation, maintenance and decommissioning of forecourts.

One of the features they will be highlighting will be the Ethanol Coalescing Filter, which they say is the first of its kind, and which removes, on average, 90% of all BTEX components from surface water discharged from forecourt separators. BTEX compounds can cause acute and long-term toxic effects should they enter soil and groundwater systems. Benzene is also known to be a carcinogen.

Alan Scrafton from Adler and Allan, explained: “This is an exciting opportunity for us to connect directly with the forecourt industry and demonstrate our expertise in this sector. Our Ethanol Coalescing Filter is an award-winning product, which can make a real difference to reducing the risk of pollution from forecourts; and the beauty is, it’s simple. It can be fitted to existing separators, so there’s no upheaval, it also meets Environment Agency pollution requirements.”

Alongside the filter, Adler and Allan offers a complete forecourt solution service package including separator installation and maintenance, fuel tank cleaning and fuel testing.

Testing and sampling is available through mobile units and within E&S’ laboratory; one of only a handful of in the UK which can test fuel samples to ASTM and EN ISO standards, with UKAS accreditation pending.

Other services include:
