VBi Retail Solutions has gone into partnership with YesPay, suppliers of electronic funds transfer payment services, to accelerate card payment authorisation.
YesPay’s Emboss bureau service, which is an online EMV chip & pin and magnetic credit/debit card transaction processing service, has been integrated into VBi’s Illumina 3000 outdoor payment terminal (OPT).
Emboss securely handles the online authorisation and settlement of chip & pin and magnetic credit/debit card transactions with multiple card acquirers and the full range of PHH-supported fuel cards transactions at the Illumina OPT. A key benefit of the partnership is the fact that Emboss is pre-accredited with Barclaycard, HSBC and Streamline – so no formal card acquirer testing or individual system accreditation is required.
In the future, Emboss will be integrated across Vbi’s entire c-store product range including its epos and outdoor payment systems.
