Top 50 Indies HKS, Golden Cross Group, Synergie and Spring Petroleum are all expected to be successful bidders when Shell confirms the final details of its sell-off of company owned sites next week.

Last month the oil company revealed it was selling 90 sites to MFG and a further 68 to Euro Garages and said that an additional 27 sites were being sold to five further companies, but that the details of these deals would be revealed at a later date.

HKS has agreed to buy seven of the sites and is currently going through due diligence with the handover due to take place in July and August. Golden Cross is believed to have agreed deals for six sites.

Spring Petroleum and HKS were ranked 9th and 10th in the most recent Forecourt Trader Top 50 Indies with 27 sites, while Synergie was in 13th place with 23 sites and Golden Cross Group was 27th with 11 sites.
