A petrol station owner has branded masked men who stuck a gun in the back of his cashier in a terrifying raid as "scum."

Two men wearing hoods and scarves, burst into the BP garage at Casterton Hill, Leicestershire, in a 9.30pm raid. They ordered the 45-year-old cashier to hand over the cash from the till. When he refused, they stuck a gun into his back and frogmarched him to the till. They left with just £80.

BP station area manager, David Court, said: "These two men are scum. Anybody who would put another human being through this sort of terrifying ordeal deserves to be strung up."
