Butterkist is launching its Sweet Cinema Style popcorn in a new bigger better value sharing pack to cater for a variety of sharing occasions.
Anjna Mistry, senior brand manager at Butterkist, said: “Our Butterkist Sweet Cinema Style standard sharing bag is the best-selling flavour in the popcorn market and is unique to the Butterkist brand.
“We’re confident that this new bigger better value format of this much loved recipe will appeal consumers who are looking for an indulgent treat for upcoming sharing occasions, such as Halloween in October.
“Popcorn was the fourth most important category for Halloween in 2014 and the top category for YoY volume growth (29%), ahead of fancy dress and cake decorations, representing 5% of the total Halloween sales.”
