Sugar free mint brand, Smint, is moving its support for Breast Cancer Care from Smint Strawberry Mix, to one of its fastest growing products, the Strawberry XXL Smint Tin.
It will be available now throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October, and will continue to be on sale to further support the cause for the foreseeable future.
The partnership between Smint and Breast Cancer Care is now in its seventh year and is on target to raise over £150,000 for the charity by March 2018.
The Strawberry XXL Tin will help retailers to increase sales and drive awareness of the partnership, with 5p from every purchase going to Breast Cancer Care.
Product manager at Smint Zaja Calder-Grant said: “We are very excited to be entering into our seventh year of partnership with Breast Cancer Care. It’s been a hugely successful initiative to date, and taking the strategic decision to introduce our Strawberry XXL Tin as the supporting product of choice will boost sales even further. The product is also sugar free, tapping into the current trend that shows 92% of us are trying to reduce our sugar intake.”
Lizzie Iredale, head of corporate partnerships at Breast Cancer Care, added: “We are delighted Smint is supporting Breast Cancer Care for the seventh year of our partnership together, and giving 5p from every Strawberry XXL Tin sold this year to the charity. With 691,000 people now living with breast cancer in the UK, Smint’s continued support is vital to help Breast Cancer Care ensure that every person affected by breast cancer has free access to trusted information, care and support whenever they need it. It’s vital that Breast Cancer Care’s services remain free; they’re a lifeline for the growing number of women coping with one of the most difficult challenges they will ever face.”
