PayPoint is the first payment network to offer Noodle top-ups. Noodle is a new mobile phone service which claims to give customers very low-cost national and international calls. Noodle e-vouchers are available in £5, £10 and £20 denominations. PayPoint retailers earn 4% commission.

Michael and Mary Johnson have opened a new 3,000sq ft Spar store on their Trostre Park forecourt in Llanelli. It is supplied by Capper & Co and as such is the Spar wholesaler's 100th petrol station. Fuel is supplied by Texaco.

Independent ATM provider Bank Machine has plans to install at least 1,000 new cash machines in 2008 and every year after that.
