Chevron’s vice president of marketing in Europe, and keynote speaker at the last Top Indies dinner, John Lynn, and general manager of retail sales, Guy Vigar, are moving on to new roles following a restructure at Chevron Ltd.

The company has announced a new structure for its marketing operations in Europe following the sale of its stake in the Nerefco refinery in the Netherlands and more recently its Benelux retail business.

As a consequence the company has created a new Africa, Europe, Pakistan region, headed up by Wayne Klahs, based at the company’s offices in Cape Town. Rhonda Morris, who was previously marketing director for Chevron in Europe, has been appointed general manager, Europe marketing, based at Canary Wharf in London. Andrew Cox, previously manager, equity distributors, Europe, becomes manager, area marketing support, reporting to Morris.

Brian Worrall has been appointed manager sales Europe, with responsibility for the company’s network of more than 1,300 Texaco-branded service stations in the UK, Ireland and the Canary Islands as well as its commercial and industrial business. Peter Oakford and Adele Shackleton remain in their existing roles as UK regional sales managers responsible for UK Texaco retail business.

Philip Hayward, who previously worked as a regional sales manager and on special projects for Chevron, is now responsible for the Texaco-branded distributor network in the UK and Ireland.
