The site fronts the A38 London Road dual carriageway

A former caravan dealership sitting on a 1.3-acre plot is set to return to its original use as a petrol station, after an outline planning application was submitted to Litchfield District Council.

The site adjoins the A38 trunk road that runs alongside the M6 Toll, midway between Wolverhampton and Leicester in the East Midlands.

While historically a petrol station, a caravan and campervan dealership traded from the plot for some years before closing, and developers, represented by Clarke Construction and Jennings Design, are now seeking permission to redevelop the site.

A 3,300sq ft forecourt shop facing four pump islands is proposed, alongside two jet-wash bays. A separate 2,150sq ft vehicle workshop also features in the plans.
