A Moto service station is to become a gateway to Britain's National Forest.

The M1 Donington Park service station lies just to the north of the forest's boundary, near East Midlands Airport. It has been chosen by the National Forest Company as an ideal location from which to set off and explore the forest.

Moto is working closely with the company to add information points around the service station, plus new wooden seating, shelters and a pond.

Fields of young trees have been planted to expand the forest and - as they mature - Moto expects more visitors to the area.
