Allstar is Arnold Clark Charge’s first fleet roaming partner

Allstar has become the EV fleet roaming payment provider for car dealer Arnold Clark’s public electric vehicle charging locations.

The partnership with Arnold Clark Charge adds 342 rapid and ultra-rapid chargers at 103 locations to Allstar’s UK-wide network.

Arnold Clark Charge launched last year as part of a £30 million investment, in which it plans to have 500 EV chargers across the UK. It has been differentiating itself by offering charging at a third of the price of competitors.

Allstar says that it now has an electric charging network with more than 70,000 chargers at over 26,000 locations, which take its Allstar Chargepass card or the Allstar Co-Pilot app. Motorists using its app can book charging slots and access cheaper rates.

Paul Holland, managing director for UK/ANZ Fleet at Corpay, including UK brand, Allstar, says: “As EVs become mainstream, businesses and their drivers will rely on unified, reliable charging access. This partnership brings that vision closer to reality, creating an electrified mobility ecosystem.”

Russell Borrie, chief executive officer at Arnold Clark, adds: “We’re committed to investing in the future of the automotive industry and making electric vehicle charging accessible to everyone. “With electric vehicles becoming increasingly popular, it’s essential that our charging infrastructure keeps pace with rising demand.”

“That’s why we’ve made significant investments in our own UK-wide, bookable ultra-rapid charging network, Arnold Clark Charge.”
