Environmental services provider Adler & Allan has opened a purpose-built demonstration centre, at Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
The new facility showcases Adler & Allan’s range of fuel, asset resilience and flood protection services, and allows visitors to see first-hand how Adler & Allan’s solutions work.
Some of the live demonstrations include:
• Fuel services, including fuel polishing and tank cleaning;
• Flooding, featuring a ‘room’ that fills with water to show Adler & Allan’s flood defence products; and
• Protective spray linings and bunding;
In the spray lining section A&A’s Adalline R polyurea coating is used to contain water in a cardboard box which its audience is then invited to stand on – effectively walking on water. Once the sides of the cardboard box have been primed, the coating can be applied directly to the water’s surface, creating a durable (and walkable) surface in a matter of minutes.
Alan Scrafton, group marketing manager for Adler & Allan, said: “We are a dynamic business, quickly diversifying to respond to the needs of industry, and the UK at large; not least during the devastating floods experienced by the North of Britain last winter. With a highly inventive R&D department constantly coming up with new ways to solve a host of problems we needed a place where customers could see first-hand our wide ranging products and services.
"We can tailor demo days, depending on the audience, and there is always a team of Adler & Allan experts available to field questions from our visitors."
Demo centre open days are held on a weekly basis. For more information and to book a place, contact: helen.dearing@adlerandallan.co.uk
