Digital out-of-home media company Amscreen has installed media screens in Britain’s biggest petrol station. The Shell site in Cobham, Surrey features 36 pumps, 141 nozzles and the capacity to serve 3,400 motorists a day. Located on the M25, the forecourt has screens featuring real-time messaging including customer information, live traffic updates, advertising for in-store promotions as well as messages from an extensive range of blue-chip advertisers.
Amscreen chief executive officer, Simon Sugar, said "We are delighted to have our screens feature in the UK’s largest petrol station. The Amscreen network provides the perfect solution for Shell to advertise and communicate with the vast footfall it is set to receive and we look forward to seeing the screens roll out in more Shell sites as they continue to expand".
Meanwhile, Amscreen has launched a flexible, made-to-measure service. This enables content to be screened worldwide in a matter of minutes, bringing flexibility to the industry. Content can be loaded onto the screens in a matter of minutes enabling direct customer engagement. It is said to remove complications and deliver advertising as it should be straight and simple.
