Digital signage company Amscreen has announced that it has terminated its sales agency agreement with Digicom Out Of Home Digital Media (Digicom) and temporarily suspended the advertising service on its network of forecourt screens.

This follows the filing of a Notice of Intention to Appoint an Administrator by Digicom on Friday May 13. Amscreen said it was informed by Digicom shortly after this that payments due to Amscreen under the terms of various agreements would not be paid. It added that it had been working with Digicom and its proposed administration team to resolve the situation but had been unable to reach a mutually acceptable position.

Amscreen said it had fulfilled all of its obligations under its agreements with Digicom and continued to operate a first-class promotion service for its forecourt network partners. It said its contractual relationship with its network partners was unaffected by the development.

Amscreen said it was considering its position and options in respect of advertising sales on its network.

The company has a network of more than 8,000 screens and provides screen solutions to companies including Top 50 Indies MRH and MFG, as well as Shell, Moto and Welcome Break.
