Dover Fueling Solutions (DFS) has launched a new ”technologically-advanced” dispenser for hydrogen.
DFS, part of Dover Corporation and a leading global provider of advanced customer-focused technologies, services and solutions in the fuel and convenience retail industries, said the new hydrogen dispenser comes with multiple configuration possibilities and a broad range of options.
It has been built following the company’s acquisition of LIQAL BV through a combination of DFS and LIQAL technology, and has been designed to meet even the most specific requirements for a broad range of applications, from heavy-duty vehicle refuelling to fuel retailing.
Using decades of hydraulic innovation to make the refuelling process safe and dependable, the DFS Hydrogen dispenser is described as having been designed for reliable performance with a low total cost of ownership. It is a modern and modular dispenser, which provides simultaneous filling from two nozzles in any combination of H35 and H70 dispensing pressures to deliver optimal and continuous hydrogen dispensing. The model also benefits from IoT technology for remote monitoring, as well as being built ready to connect to DFS’ advanced eco-system, including solutions for billing, customer loyalty schemes and payment.
The DFS Hydrogen dispenser offers an ”intuitive and rich user experience” using digital screens to guide the user through the refuelling experience safely and efficiently, as well as providing station owners with advanced tools to engage and interact with their customers by unlocking powerful promotional strategies and loyalty programmes right at the dispenser, in order to help boost sales and profits.
The DFS Hydrogen dispenser supplements DFS’ established alternative energy portfolio, which also includes compressed natural gas (CNG), liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and liquid natural gas (LNG) dispensers.
DFS says its expansion into hydrogen technology further demonstrates its strategic intent to offer leading products and solutions in the alternative energy sector, to power the next era of mobility and heavy-duty transportation.
