PriceAdvantage, a fuel pricing software company and a division of Skyline Products, has announced validation and support for the Wayne Nucleus point-of-sale (POS) system to synchronise fuel price changes from headquarters to the street. The validation enables convenience store owners to determine fuel pricing strategies and get updated pricing to stores quickly to Nucleus POS systems.
Wayne Fueling Systems is a supplier of fuel dispensers, payment terminals, forecourt control devices, point-of-sale and measurement and control solutions to retail commercial fueling customers in over 140 countries. PriceAdvantage provides software to help fuel analysts and others make informed economic fuel pricing strategies, manage pricing and margins, and revise pump prices. The validation enables price changes to be executed automatically from headquarters to the Nucleus POS system, fuel dispenser, and electronic price signs with patented end-to-end pricing technology, licensed exclusively to PriceAdvantage.
“This validation came about on the request of our customers, and we are pleased to make it available to fueling retailers,” said Gary Rogers, marketing product leader, Wayne Fueling Systems. “The Nucleus POS system has an open architecture with support for a wide range of dispensers, peripherals, credit card networks, and back office systems, and we are pleased to add the PriceAdvantage fuel pricing solution as an option for our customers’ operations.”
“The Nucleus POS system is a strategic addition to our list of validated technologies,” said Chip Stadjuhar, CEO of Skyline Products. “We are happy to work with a leading provider like Wayne to give company and dealer owned stores even more options to gain the full picture on fuel pricing, with access to analytics and business rules, to make more informed pricing decisions in less time.”
