VDT Direct, a developer of digital video security equipment, has launched a new range of low-cost DVRs (digital video recorders) with alarm functions, costing from £120.
Clive Mason, managing director of VDT Direct, said: "These new DVRs will open up the market for low-cost video alarm systems by eliminating the need for expensive alarm transmitters to send intrusion alerts to remote locations. They provide users with a fast and reliable way to receive and view video clips using any internet-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone."
The DVRs support alarm functionality with video and motion detection."These new DVRs provide a cost effective way of deploying video alarm systems giving users a clearer picture of every activation and enabling them to take immediate and appropriate action," said Mason.
