The local MP has opened the new offices of wet stock specialists Fairbanks.
Rosie Cooper, the Labour MP for West Lancashire, carried out the official opening of the premises at Skelmersdale, and was shown how the company monitors forecourts across the globe.
The new offices are located on the White Moss Business Park off junction 4 of the M58, opposite the existing building Fairbanks has occupied since 1998.
Joint managing director, Bob Conlin, said: "We were delighted to welcome Rosie to our offices to see first-hand how our business operates. It has been very important to us that the culture of the business is preserved as we grow and therefore our commitment to recruiting, training and developing the right people is vital.
"Our BIBA Business of the Year and Investors in People Gold awards are testament to this commitment and are a great reward for all our people who have worked very hard to achieve this."
Fellow managing director Steve Jones added: "Bob and I are very proud to have created careers for so many people in the area. But as we keep growing, we will continue to look to the North West for more people to join our teams and we are planning to host more recruitment days during 2014."
