Car wash equipment specialist WashTec is pledging to introduce a first to the UK market at the Forecourt Show, at the NEC in Birmingham, on April 14-16.
The new Advanced Chemical System (ACS) is a cassette-based chemical management system for automatic car washes that simplifies the process of managing chemical supplies.
WashTec (UK) managing director, Michael Harris explained: "Taking inspiration from the convenience of the ink-jet cartridge, ACS replaces the traditional and cumbersome method of refilling chemical canisters with the simple and straightforward method of plugging a new cartridge into the unique ACS base module."
He said the system has built-in safety features to ensure that only the correct chemical is replaced, and the integral reserve tank means that running out of chemicals and losing wash sales as a result should be a thing of the past.
