A man has been arrested after an ATM was ripped from the wall of Northwich Service Station, near Worcester.

Police were called to the Texaco service station on Ombersley Road shortly after 1am on Friday 17 December and found the machine removed from the wall but not from the site.

They report that two men in dark clothing made off from the scene in a white van.

A man was arrested on suspicion of theft and has since been released on bail. Investigations are ongoing.
