Police are appealing for witnesses to two burglaries at a petrol station in Sheffield which they believe may be linked.
The most recent theft occurred between 2.20am and 2.30am on Wednesday, February 12, at the Murco petrol station in Burncross Road, Chapeltown.
Police believe that two offenders forced their way in and stole a substantial amount of cigarettes, cash and alcohol.
Both men were wearing balaclavas and are described as white and between 18 and 25 years old. The first man was around 5ft 10ins tall, of stocky build and was wearing a dark hooded top with grey underneath, black bottoms and black and grey trainers.
The second man was around 6ft tall and of slim build. He was wearing a black North Face jacket, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Between 2.20am and 2.30am on Wednesday, 8 January, two men fitting the same descriptions are thought to have forced entry to the same petrol station and took cigarettes from behind the till area.
Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 71 for the burglary on Wednesday 8 January, or incident number 87 for the break-in of 12 February 2014. Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
