Italian confectionary company Pernigotti has launched its ranges into the UK impulse and forecourt sectors.
Pernigotti makes Torrone - bars of flavoured Italian nougat; Torroncino - bagged mini versions of Torrone; and, specifically for the forecourt and impulse sectors, chocolate snack bars.
The 30g chocolate bars come in the following flavours: milk, milk & hazelnut, cremino, dark chocolate, gianduia chocolate with almonds, hazelnut, gianduia chocolate and filled dark chocolate.
The products are merchandised in shelf-ready units of 28, designed to increase in-store visibility.
Marketing support will include trade and consumer advertising, sponsorship, competitions and in- store activity.
There will be a roll-out of merchandising units and in-store POP displays for the nougat lines and the impulse snack bars.
To thank forecourt retailers for their support, Pernigotti is giving away 10 cases of Pernigotti chocolate snack bars (rrp 59p-79p per bar) - one case each to 10 retailers.
