Jet has announced the winner of its recent ‘Journey Jackpot’ prize draw, with one lucky customer being selected at random to win the grand prize of a new Toyota Yaris Hybrid, worth over £26,000.
The winner, Kris, was handed over the keys to the car at the family-run Jet Jubilee Garage in Egremont, Cumbria.
The competition was designed to boost customer engagement and increase footfall. It ran for three weeks over October and November, supported by video-on-demand and radio advertising, plus social media engagement and point-of-sale materials. Drivers entered the draw by sending a photograph of a receipt showing a £10 or more fuel purchase at a Jet forecourt to the firm.
Áine Corkery, brand manager for UK marketing at Phillips 66, which owns Jet, comments: “As a driver-first business, we wanted to give something back to our loyal customers, and the Jet Journey Jackpot has more than delivered,”
She adds “It’s been fantastic to see such a positive result for Kris, Jet Jubilee Garage and our participating sites.”
The team at Jet Jubilee say it is “thrilled the winner is a local customer”, adding: “Hosting the giveaway has been fantastic. Seeing the car on the forecourt with branded ribbons and balloons created a real buzz, and customers loved being part of it”.
