Top 50 Indie Kay Group’s Primrose Garage has scooped the title of Londis multiple account forecourt store of the year at the symbol group’s awards in conjunction with its annual conference.
Independent retailer Steve Vaughan of Londis Handbridge in Chester was named Londis forecourt store of the year at the event in Birmingham.
The symbol group also announced a £1m investment in delivering lower prices on key lines for Londis retailers.
Donal Horgan, managing director at Londis, said: “The conference theme of Growing through Emerging Stronger reflects our ambition to grow our business and emerge from this downturn a better and stronger brand.
“We will focus on pricing and discount; best offer; better simpler service and recruitment as we continue our journey to provide our customers with all they need for everyday living.”
The conference programme also included a trade show, interactive workshops and presentations as well as the store of the year awards and gala dinner.
