Officers from Dorset Police are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40s was robbed at a petrol station cashpoint earlier this month.
The incident took place at the Osprey Quay Service Station on Mereside, Isle of Portland and saw the victim approached from behind and attacked before his bike keys and phone were stolen.
Police subsequently arrested a 37-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman before releasing both, with the man being placed on bail and the woman remaining under investigation.
Officers believe the attack was seen by other people, and are appealing for witnesses to come forwards.
Constable Anya Parvin of Dorset County CID comments: “We are continuing to carry out enquiries into this matter and from our investigation we believe there may be members of the public who witnessed this incident.
“I would urge any witnesses who have not spoken to police, or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries, to please get in touch.”
