
Officers from Essex Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a fight involving “multiple people” at a filling station in Canvey Island.
The incident took place shortly before 1am on Friday 21 August at an MFG-owned Esso liveried forecourt on Somnes Avenue, the Echo reports.
A spokesman for Essex Police told the paper: “We were called to reports of a disturbance in Somnes Avenue, Canvey Island shortly before 12.55am on Friday 21 August.
“It was reported a number of people were involved in a fight at a petrol station.
“If you have any information, CCTV, dash cam or other footage in relation to this incident, then please get in contact with us. Please quote incident 65 of 21 August.”
