Leading Irish forecourt and convenience retailer Maxol has secured a contract with the Henderson Group to supply three new service stations.
The stations - in Glenavy and Broughshane, County Antrim; and the Donegal Road, Belfast - increase the Maxol-branded network with the Henderson Group to a total of 25 service stations across Northern Ireland.
Maxol first partnered with the Henderson Group in 2009 and with this newest venture, sales revenues are expected to achieve £250 million over the next five years.
The re-brand to Maxol has been completed at Glenavy and will be introduced at the other two service stations in early November.
Kevin Paterson, NI retail manager for Maxol said: “We are delighted to have won the contract to supply fuel under the Maxol brand to the three new service stations. This extends our total number of sites in Northern Ireland to 95. It is also a great endorsement from Henderson’s on the level of service that we provide and the strong equity in the Maxol brand. We look forward to introducing our new modern forecourt signage and in accepting the Maxol fuel card at all of these new locations.”
Ron Whitten, chief finance officer of the Henderson Group, said: “We are delighted that Maxol has won a further three service station fuel-supply contracts with the Henderson Group. It is vital to our business that we remain at the heart of the local community and this latest contract announcement further strengthens the strategic partnership of two local indigenous companies and provides a strong platform for growth for both companies moving forward.”
