MFG has applied for planning permission to extend a Morrisons forecourt it operates in Coventry, West Midlands. If approved, the development will involve almost tripling the square footage of the site’s shop, and installing a four-bay jet-wash facility.
The filling station, to the south-east of the centre of Coventry, currently comprises a large forecourt served by six pump islands and a small kiosk-style shop, together with a rollover car wash and two open jet-wash bays.
The plans reveal MFG intends to increase the internal area of the shop from 441sq ft to 1,227sq ft, while also removing the old jet-wash configuration and installing a new setup featuring three covered and one uncovered cleaning bays. The rollover car wash remains unaffected by the plans.
