Top 50 Indie MFG is set to remove a rollover car wash and use the freed-up space to build an 800sq ft extension housing a Greggs.
The plans relate to a Jet liveried filling station in Grimsby, Lincs, which currently features an automatic car wash built into the main forecourt shop.
Having secured planning permission from North East Lincolnshire Council, MFG can now go ahead with its plans which will see the rollover removed from the shop building, with an extension added in its place. The Greggs that will occupy the new space is set to create 10 jobs, five of which will be part time.
The firm is also installing a second jet wash bay at the site, but as part of the planning approval MFG will have to limit the operation of both bays, with new times of 8am to 8pm to reduce noise, rather than the 7am to 11pm hours the current bay can run during.
