North Wales Police are appealing for information after a service station near Wrexham was robbed in the early hours of Saturday morning (September 12).
The incident happened at around 3.30am at the Esso Service Station in Rhostyllen.
Two men in their late twenties, one armed with a hammer, made off with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
Both offenders are described as white. One was about 5ft 6ins tall with short blond hair and bad teeth. He was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms.
The other male, who was carrying the hammer, is described as about 5ft 11ins tall, of stocky build with short dark hair.
Both spoke with Wrexham accents. They left in a black car, driving southbound along the A483. No one was injured during the incident.
Detective inspector Neil Harrsion said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this incident or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area at this time to contact police on 101 or anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800 555111 quoting reference RC15139549.”
