Top 50 Indie Roadside Group has revamped its site at Newcastle International Airport with a Nisa Local-branded forecourt store.
The 2,000 sq.ft petrol forecourt store has been fitted to Nisa’s Store of the Future fascia specification. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the site also offers a Costa Coffee Express, a Subway franchise and a bakery counter.
Colin Fullerton, director at Roadside Group, said: “We are very pleased to have become members of Nisa and we are looking forward to developing our product range, especially fresh and chilled goods and offering an enhanced service to our customers.
“Repeat trade is important to us and it is imperative to make a good impression by giving excellent service and providing a comprehensive product range at competitive prices to help encourage the customers to return.”
The airport store signing is an important strategic move for the Nisa Symbol Group. John Heagney, group symbol director, said: “This is an important site for us. The airport is visited by millions of people each year and we are in a position to really showcase the Nisa brand and help to attract more loyal customers.”
The Roadside Group is planning to convert two further stores to Nisa Local in the next couple of months.
