Shell has begun trading at a new-to-industry company- operated site at Barton Mills in Suffolk.
Located on the busy Fiveways Roundabout on a section of the A11 to Thetford, which has recently seen completion of upgrades to a dual carriageway, the site provides a retail offer for both motorists and HGV drivers.
Shell Barton Mills is a 24-hour site incorporating a 150sq m shop which provides a wide range of hot and cold snacks, Costa coffee and groceries.
Other facilities include a free-to-use ATM machine and jet wash facility and the site shares access with a new McDonald’s drive-through restaurant.
Sue Annis, senior district manager, said: "Shell Barton Mills is in a great location and meets our strategy of having the right service station in the right location to meet the needs of our customers.
"Shell Barton Mills will bring Shell’s premium fuel Shell V-Power Nitro+ and our leading convenience offer in deli2go to the local community as well as being a destination for those travelling along the recently upgraded A11.
"As a new-to-industry, company-owned site Shell Barton Mills demonstrates how we are continuing to invest in our network and how we are looking for the right opportunities to grow the network."
