Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing to members of the public for information following an overnight break-in at a Tesco filling station in Welshpool, Powys.

The force says robbers smashed the forecourt-shop door “sometime before” 1:30am on Friday, January 2 before making off with “approximately £6,000 in cash”.

A spokesperson for the constabulary commented: “Did you see anything or have any information that could help our enquiries? If so, officers would like to hear from you.”
