A new jet-wash business has opened in Ayr, on the west coast of Scotland. Gorilla Jet Wash features unique primate-style branding throughout the site, which comprises six covered jet-wash bays.
The facility also features two vacuum and fragrance machines, and two multifunction towers delivering vacuum, fragrance, air and screenwash. Two dog-washing bays are also on offer, with an on-site laundrette set to be added soon.

The installation of much of the facility was conducted by Electrajet, which kitted out the site’s plant room, payment terminals, hoses and lance holders.
Gorilla opened on Saturday 28 June, but was forced to close on Sunday after so many customers came that the firm’s supply of car-wash chemicals ran dry – though the business was back up and running again on Monday.
