Partnership will see Westmorland’s sites adopt new debt-recovery system

Top 50 Indie Westmorland Group is partnering with security firm Forecourt Eye to roll out a digital debt-recovery system following a successful pilot scheme.

The firm, which operates Tebay and Gloucester Services, tested Forecourt Eye’s debt-recovery system at two sites, which yielded “strong operational results”.

Following on from this, Westmorland is rolling the technology out across its estate in a phased implementation.

Forecourt Eye’s managing director, Michelle Henchoz, commented: “Westmorland is a highly respected name in the forecourt and roadside retail sector, with a clear focus on quality, experience and operational excellence. Winning the team’s trust following a detailed review process, along with a successful trial, is a strong endorsement of our debt recovery capability.”

Andy Smith, Westmorland’s fuel manager, said his firm had been on the lookout for “a partner that could deliver effective debt recovery while reflecting the values of the Westmorland brand”, adding that Forecourt Eye had deployed “a professional, measured approach”.
