The Castrol brand has been relaunched with a simplified range that’s designed to make it easier for customers to choose the right oil for their engine.
The line-up has been streamlined to three core sub-brands: GTX, for superior protection against harmful engine conditions; Magnatec, a premium product with ’intelligent molecules’ for continuous protection; and Edge, for demanding drivers with high-performance engines. All are available in 1ltr top-up and 4ltr packs.
Castrol recently announced that it will be an official sponsor of UEFA Euro 2008. More specific promotional activity for the relaunch includes TV and radio advertising. Customers with a WAP-enabled mobile will also be able to use a new text service to receive product recommendations.
